What is Early Help?
Early Help, sometimes known as early intervention, is an approach to providing children, young people and families with support to thrive and reach their full potential. Early Help supports families at the earliest point when they first have challenges, stopping problems from escalating.
What support can we offer?
Support at St Nicholas come in many ways. Here is some of the Early Help that we offer:
- welfare meetings
- referrals to appropriate agencies
- sign posting
- emotional support
- assistance with form filling
- child and family support drop in service
- school nurse drop in sessions
- consultations with child and family well-being team
